Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America 2010 last night (January 30) in Las Vegas.
Cameron, a 22-year-old from Fredericksburg, Va. and broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University , was awarded a $50,000 scholarship, a crown and the title Miss America. She succeeded her opponents in the swimsuit, evening gown, talent, and interview competitions. Caressa sang Beyonce's "Listen" for the talent competition. Caressa aspires to become a news anchor.
